On Tuesday the 13th of March a lady called Sophie came in and did a science project with us. She was from Oxford university and she brought in a long expanded balloon. Then she showed us a car with a balloon on the end which made it power forward and an animal which you blow through to make his eyes fly.
Then we went outside and saw her use a pump to make water rockets fly. There was a three quarter full, a half full and a quarter full of water. We chose the quarter full because it went the highest, so did everybody else. We then went inside to make our own rockets. We put a nose cone on ours. Some people didn’t which turned out well.
We went outside to fire our rockets. Ours wasn’t very good because of the nose cone. The ones without went really high. We all really enjoyed it.
