Bledington Primary School Vision Statement
At Bledington Primary School we take pride in developing outstanding teaching and learning. Our school vision is underpinned by our motto, “Enjoy, Engage, Challenge” and also by our set of values which provide a basis to develop a love of learning in all of our children and staff.
The caring, nurturing atmosphere within the school is the key to our aim of ensuring that all of our pupils have the best possible opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, physically and academically within a happy, safe environment. Pupils are praised and rewarded for hard work, determination and positive attitudes. We aim to develop confident and active learners who enjoy learning and asking questions.
We strive to provide high quality teaching which is inspirational and reflective. We challenge all pupils to strive for academic, creative, sporting and personal excellence within a broad, stimulating, and enriching curriculum which is reflective of our modern world.
This includes;
A strong partnership with our parents is important to us and we value open and honest communication with all stakeholders. We aim to put into practice our equal opportunities policy and make sure that all families feel included in the life of the school. We work hard to engage in a close relationship with our village community and also collaborate with local schools, fostering good practice and sharing development opportunities.
