About The Bledington School Association (BSA)
Registered Charity No. - 293469
Bledington Primary School works hard to foster good relationships with the local community. The school boasts a strong School Association who work tirelessly to support the school and its children.
The Bledington School Association is a small but dedicated group of parents and staff who help to run events to raise extra funds for the school. With your continued support, the BSA can help to fund trips, workshops, class libraries, art supplies and all sorts of things to enhance your child's learning.
This year, in addition to all of these things, the BSA is working to raise funds to purchase new outdoor play equipment for the school. In particular, we are hoping to purchase climbing equipment that will be suitable for the infants to enjoy. Hopefully we will have a great year of activities and fundraising and we can buy some fantastic new equipment!

We are always looking for new members to join us, so if you would like to get involved then please do let one of us know! It really isn't a big commitment to be on the BSA, we only meet for an hour every term to plan and organise events for the forthcoming term.
Huge thanks to Annie Hammerstein and the BSA for organising the Spring Raffle. It is normally our biggest fundraiser and this year was no exception! The raffle raised a brilliant £1764.00 plus an extra £1000 from matched funding from Barclays. Thanks to everyone who bought and sold tickets and an extra special thank you to Miranda Hall and Dani Lenton who both sold hundreds of tickets.
Barn Dance - 22nd March 2019
The BSA organised a Barn Dance on the 22nd March 2019. The event was a great success and families enjoyed donning their Stetsons and eating chilli and jacket potatoes! Thanks to everyone involved in making the Barn Dance such a fun evening.
This year our Wreath making Workshop will be held on Thursday 30th November 2017. Doors open from 7pm as we start at 7:30pm sharp! No experience necessary, please bring your own foliage (you do need quite a lot!), maybe an apron and some secateurs or scissors. We will provide you with a glass of fizz, nibbles and all the wire, moss & decorations. This is always a fun festive evening!
Please book you place with Mel Gorton, cost £15 per person
Our Pig Raising Evening raised £600 - thank you again for your support!
PIG RACING!! Fun for all the family. On Fri 13th May we are holding a Pig Racing Evening in the school hall. Doors open at 5pm, tickets £3 adults, £2 children. Ticket price includes jacket potato & chilli/beans/cheese & salad. First race 5:30pm. Funds raised are going towards buying an iPad for each class.
PIG RACE SPONSORS
We are looking for businesses or families to sponsor the event and each of the races at our Pig Racing Evening. We will advertise your business on this page, on the Racecard, in the school newsletter, on the website and Bledington News. There are 2 options, £50 for event sponsorship (full advertising as above) or £25 for race sponsorship (advertising on the night only). All money raised will be spent on iPads for the school. If you'd like to be a sponsor please speak to Lou Reid.
Thanks to Cotswold Carriers, http://www.cotswoldcarriers.com/
We are very pleased to have been given a date for car parking at the Cotswold School in Bourton-on-the-Water but we desperately need some volunteers to help out! The Cotswold School open up one of their playing fields for car parking over the summer and all we have to do is put a banner out first thing in the morning to direct people to the car park and then collect money from vehicles entering the car park. There needs to be two people on the gate at a time and we will work out a rota of two hour time slots. If you can spare a couple of hours on this day then please let us know, this is a brilliant and easy fundraiser when the weather is good as Bourton attracts lots of tourists during the summer months. Thank you!
The Car Parking raised £270 for the BSA - thank you to everyone who helped.
School Disco – Friday 18th March 2016
Thanks to everyone who came to the disco and to all the parents for helping the drop-off/collection run smoothly. We raised £77 in total!
Bag2School - Friday 18th March
Thank you for all the donations, you have helped to raise £88 for school. The next collection date is on Thursday 15th September.
