Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
The Pupil Premium is an element of the school funding aimed at narrowing the gap in attainment between certain disadvantaged groups of pupils and those who are less fortunate.
The funding is calculated on the basis of £1455 for each pupil who is eligible for free school meals in the past six years, and for "looked after" children in care of the local authority for more than six years. There is a related Service premium of £335 for children of families in the armed forces. The funding is provided to schools, which decide how best to spend this in accordance with local needs.
