Below is our Special Educational Needs and Disability policy which is updated annually.
Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCO) is Ms J Kewley. She can be contacted at head@bledington.gloucs.sch.uk
Teachers work together to observe, monitor and assess all pupils in their class. Sometimes a pupil will require some extra support, either from within school or from other professionals. Teachers will discuss any needs with the SENDCO and with parents. If a referral to another agency is needed (eg Speech therapy), the parent will be asked to give their consent.

The Early Pathway for Support details the procedures we will follow if we have worries or concerns about a child or children at our school to ensure that they are kept safe.
