Mathematics is important in everyday life and, with this is mind, the purpose of Mathematics at Bledington Primary School is to develop an ability to solve problems, to reason, to think logically and to work systematically and accurately. All children are challenged and encouraged to excel in and enjoy Maths. We use White Rose Maths small steps to assist children through their learning of Mathematics. We are using Maths Mastery to support mental mathematic skills.

To help your child with Maths, there are lots of fun things you can do. 

We work hard on our instant recall facts, which underpin all the Maths we do. These are short and snappy facts we need to know at the click of our fingers, so any chatting and work on these is excellent.
