Behaviour

Please see our Behaviour and Anti Bullying Policies under the 'About us' - 'Policies' tab.

We regularly discuss our expectations and include all pupils and staff when thinking about our policies and procedures.

Our pupils have come up with a set of expectations for the whole school and also a set of rules for excellent behaviour within their own classroom. (Please see below)

Within Bledington we have a House system. During each week pupils can earn House Points which then contribute to their House points chart. Points can be earned for great behaviour, politeness, good manners, kindness, positive attitude to work, good team playing etc and can be awarded by any adult in the school. At Celebration Assembly pupils are always eager to see which house star moves the furthest, as at the end of each term the House cup displays the colour ribbons of the winning House!

At lunchtimes we sit at mixed-age tables. The older pupils help to support younger children and are good role models for manners and social conventions.

Every week a "Table of the week" is chosen by our Midday supervisory staff. This table earns a red linen tablecloth, red cutlery and china plates for the following Friday. Children are very keen to win this award!
