School Evaluation and Development Plan (School Improvement) 2024-2025

The aim of our School Evaluation and Development Plan (SEDP) is to secure pupils’ academic achievement and personal development and to ensure that the school environment is continually improved and well managed.

The SEDP sets out the school’s strategy and development planning for the years ahead with specific actions for this academic year. It shows the Intent, Implementation and Impact of the objectives set.

The SEDP is developed through discussion by, and consultation with, staff, governors, pupils and parents. It is informed by self-evaluation and regularly up-dated throughout the year at Staff and Governors’ meetings. Actions may be completed within different time frames or may be continued or re-visited over a couple of years.

In summary, our intent is for all pupils to leave Bledington Primary School as enthusiastic, independent learners with self-belief and an abiding respect for others. We believe that these qualities give our pupils the best possible grounding for life-long learning and future success.
