School Council
At Bledington Primary we value all our children's ideas and opinions. Children hold a democratic vote at the beginning of each academic year to vote in two representatives. These children get the chance to meet to share ideas and changes with Mr Young. Children then feed back to their classes about events and changes going on around the school. The children set their own agendas and aims for our meetings and get to make real changes around our school...
Our Current School Councillors are...
Key Stage 1: Imogen, Rupert, Monty & Harriet
Key Stage 2: Sam, Harris, Hudson, Annabelle, Bella & Lewis
Great to meet you, we are new School Council!
We have been voted by our classmates to represent you and make all of the cool ideas we have actually happen!
This year, we have decided our group aims are:
- Clean up and replace anything broken in the playground games boxes
- Raise money for new sports equipment so we can play new sports in school
- Work alongside the teachers and the BSA to organise fun events
- Raise money for charities in fun ways
- Ensure our school is a fun, happy place for everyone
- Listen to everyone's ideas, even if they can't come true!
What we have done in the past...
Across the years, School Council have been instrumental in organising and changing several things around Bledington Primary. Below is a list of things of a few that we are most proud of:
