Headteacher’s Welcome to Bledington School
Our school is very much a little community within a community and we are proud of our nurturing family atmosphere and supportive values. We believe every pupil should be able to participate in and enjoy all school activities, learning about co-operation, responsibility and perseverance. Our expectations are high and we seek to develop in all our children a strong sense of responsibility for their own behaviour, and a respect for others.
Set in beautiful grounds with our own forest area, our school has bright, stimulating classrooms with up-to-date technology and high quality resources. We are fortunate to have a Victorian building as the heart of the school with a large modern hall for dining, assemblies, PE and events. We have a dedicated and professional staff supported by a committed Governing Body and an enthusiastic Bledington School Association (BSA).
We aim for our pupils to:
achieve their individual potential academically, socially and emotionally.
be happy and confident, value and respect themselves, others and their environment.
be equipped with life skills for the modern world.
Our website will give you a flavour of Bledington School but we highly recommend coming to visit us so that you can see us in action and discover all that we can offer. Please don’t hesitate to contact us.
